Ezrah is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Dodd and Chaaban Strategies LLC. He is a top strategist and tactician in California public policy, public relations, and politics, having served as a Chief of Staff in the California State Legislature for the past decade and led numerous winning campaigns. Ezrah has played a key role in state legislation and local policy issues. He spent 10 years as a Chief of Staff in the California State Senate and California State Assembly.
During that time he analyzed thousands of bills, successfully passed 126 bills into law, and helped effectuate policy goals through budget appropriations, state agency engagement and drafting amendments to pending legislation.
In addition to his full-time work for the Senate, he was elected to the Sonoma County Junior College District Board of Trustees in 2022. In 2023, he was voted President of the Board of Trustees. In that role, Ezrah works with his six fellow trustees to oversee policy and fiscal direction for an institution serving over 20,000 students with an annual budget in excess of $250,000,000.
Ezrah has also worked as a campaign consultant and led successful campaigns for the Legislature and numerous public relations and public affairs campaigns.
Prior to public service in the Legislature, Ezrah worked as government affairs director for a regional trade association and managing federal and state public policy across the United States for an international financial services company.
Ezrah holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he graduated Order of Coif, and has been licensed to practice law in California since 2011. His work earned him recognition of 40 Under 40 leaders by the North Bay Business Journal. And he has been recognized with resolutions by the State Senate and the State Assembly for his service.
